Arsenal have already secured the signing of Juventus midfielder Arturo
Vidal, according to Argentine journalist Hernan Feler- who is reportedly
the man who initially broke the news of Vidal’s Chilean compatriot
Alexis Sanchez’ move to the Emirates last year.
According to reports, the Gunners have moved ahead of Premier League
rivals Manchester United and Liverpool for the signature of the
highly-talented Champions League finalists. On Twitter, Feler said:
“After the Copa America in Chile, it will be made official the arrival
of Arturo Vidal to Arsenal. Everything is closed. Alexis [Sanchez] will
partner him.”
Previously it seemed that reports concerning Vidal were simple gossip
stories, with no credibility, but now it seems some with real
connections and information believe the transfer is complete- with only
the official things to be done after the Copa America.
Apparently, Arsenal have agreed a fee with Juventus and personal
terms with Vidal himself have also been agreed- with Alexis Sanchez
helping to persuade his international colleague to move to North London.
